Children have realise this when they got their own children too.

Friends come and go, but parents will be with you forever.
Teach your children Godly standard from infancy till they leave your house because even when they rebelled being teenagers (we were once like them) the lessons you taught them will not depart from them. They will always revert back to what they were accustomed to and grow up decent productive citizen for our society.
