Don’t spend your life looking in the rear view mirror, look forward to new and great things.
“Looking Back” at your past has a deeper meaning than just reminiscing and feeling nostalgic about the wonderful memories of your past. If that’s all your doing every once in awhile, that’s great. However, people who look back at their past experiences full of regrets about missed opportunities or with bitterness about how they have been treated are more likely to fall ill and generally have a poorer quality of life. The happiest and healthiest people are those who manage to enjoy the here and now, while making time to learn from the past and plan for the future. ~ Brigitte Nicole
I have many times looked back and see how far I’ve gone and I’ve gone far a few times. I would want to give up but I would go back on my 2 feet and keep going further. If I can do it anybody can do it. Believe me even at worst times you can do it. ~ Marie Okalik
There is a big difference between looking back and living in the past. One never grows if they continue to live in the past, looking back (hopefully) helps us see how much we have grown, learned and how choices changed our lives. ~ Doreen Ferrante
